If players win one of two upcoming NBA 2K23 MyTeam Unlimited tournaments in the coming months, they'll have a chance to win up to $200,000. Here's how you can enter one of these two events, each with a prize pool of $250,000, for a total of $500,000 this year.
NBA 2K23 MyTEAM Unlimited Tournament has two tracks - one for each console generation (eg PS4, Xbox One, PS5 and Xbox Series X). The annual tournament features four GameDays across four seasons in NBA 2K23 MyTEAM, and anyone with a copy of the game is eligible to play. The contest is open to all 50 US states and the District of Columbia.
Qualification Requirements
In order to join, players must first reach the Unlimited Emerald rank in the previous GameDays season. With four days of qualifying games, players have time to build unlimited teams over the next four seasons and keep pace with those who have money to Buy NBA 2K23 MT spend on MyTEAM. However, remember that your unlimited rank resets after each season, so be sure to reach your Emerald rank every game day:
Season 1 GameDay: October 15, 2022, 10:00 AM PT to 2:00 PM PT
Season 2 GameDay: November 26, 2022, 10:00 AM PT to 2:00 PM PT
Season 3 GameDay: January 7, 2023, 10:00 AM PT to 2:00 PM PT
Season 4 GameDay: February 18, 2023, 10:00 AM PT to 2:00 PM PT
The four competitors with the highest Xbox score and the four highest PS earnings per GameDay from each track (16 GameDay players in total) will qualify for the tournament on that track. Please note that in order to participate, players must be able to play the game online, so an Xbox Gold subscription is required if playing on Xbox, and a PS Plus Essentials subscription for PlayStation.
Once you reach the Emerald level, you can join GameDay on any of the days above by selecting the MyTEAM tournament menu during gameplay. You have four participants to enter the tournament with the goal of getting the highest score among all players on your path and console generation. Depending on a number of factors such as the quality of your team, the quality of your opponent's team, and your performance in that game, you will earn points for each skill you play in each game you play during GameDay. Points are locked at the end of the match day.
2K will notify winners on March 4th, 2023 at 10:00am PT (current generation) or March 5th, 2023 at 10:00am PT.
Tournament Brackets
64 eligible GameDays players (ie 16 Xbox, 16 PS each, 32 for Xbox and 32 for PS) will compete in the tournament scheduled for March 4, 2023 (current-gen) and March 5, 2023 (current-gen) at 10:00 AM Pacific time every day.
Each track's tournament division consists of 16 players on Xbox and 16 players on PS. Players must play on the platform they entered GameDay on, but the tournament finals will be played on PS4 or PS5. The winner of each cycle will be named a finalist with a chance to win cash prizes at home. The winner of the Xbox platform will then face the winner of the PS platform on either PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, depending on the song, and both players have already received at least $50,000 in cash prizes.
Prize Pool
The prize pool is $250,000 per game, and the total prize pool is $500,000 for the entire NBA 2K23 MyTEAM Unlimited tournament. In the Grand Finals, the last players in each lane have a chance to win NBA 2K23's first prize.
