World of Warcraft Classic, a server variant that returns players to the legendary MMO Golden Head of a strong blizzard, will soon enter its fourth phase. Following the original release schedule in 2004, WoW Classic slowly introduced the game with new updates every few weeks.

The fourth phase of the launch of phase 3 will continue on 12 February. While Phase 3 focused on Darkmoon Faire and Blackwing Lair, in Phase 4, players take part in a raid on 20 Zul'Gurub men and the associated Zandalar reputation. For those who can't wait, Blizzard brought a new scene to his test world.

Connect to PTR

Players wishing to play on General Test Field (PTR) must first install it through Battle.net Launcher. This is done by opening the World of Warcraft tab, switching to the Version menu, and selecting PTR: World of Warcraft: Classic.

Fortunately, there is no need to completely reinstall the game in order to play PTR, and the download of WoW Classic Test Realm is only 500 MB. After installation, players should play the game and choose your preferred server type, either Player vs Environment or Player vs Player. This will have the same impact on playing in Vanilla WoW Classic.

Select a character

Once players choose a server, they must choose to create a new character or copy one of the vanilla games. It is worth noting that the copied character will not affect the character of cloning from it on live servers and nothing that is done on the PTR will be transferred. Creating a character follows the same process that follows vanilla WoW Classic: choosing race, gender, category, appearance and name.

Players who prefer to play with their Retail World of Warcraft character will have to copy the Copy character instead of creating it. Then select the area where the character is currently located and simply select it from the list of names. There are some limitations: characters below level 10 cannot be copied and WoW Classic data may be copied incorrectly. This can be corrected by clicking on "Copy Data" in the launcher.
