NCSOFT shares its Lineage 2 development plans for 2020. Players are waiting for global changes, including new graphics, other more thoughtful gameplay, as well as a new race. Apparently, the changes will affect all versions of the game.

Changes will affect all aspects of the game: from character development to graphics. One of the problems of the game is the irrelevance of old skills with getting a third profession, the developers want to use a system of combining skills, as is done in the main version of Lineage 2 in the fourth profession. New skills will also be introduced.

A world siege will be introduced for the first time - clans from different countries will be able to compete for the castle in the strategy and sharpness of the sword. The system of clans itself will also undergo changes, players will be more involved in the clan’s life, and its maximum level will be increased to 10 with corresponding bonuses.

Developers will change the principle of extraction of equipment, in some way make it enjoyable and combine it with pumping the character so that the player does not wonder: pump the character or get things. Changes will affect the system of characteristics - the player will be able to change them in some new way.

NCSOFT previously mentioned that someday it will improve the graphics of the game or even transfer it to the current engine.
