Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is an upcoming online action role-playing video game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The sequel to Tom Clancy's The Division, the game will be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 15, 2019.
The Division 2 is now in The open beta on March 1 and solstice on March 5, giving players a small slice of The upcoming third-person shooter. The Division 2 has added some new content, but this time it will work for everyone on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. How to get into The Division 2 public beta on each platform.
Unlike the private beta in February, the public beta is available to all PS4, Xbox One, and PC users. On all platforms, it started at 1am on March 1 and ended at 1am on March 5. This means you have four days to try out everything in beta.
Before you download the beta, you need to make sure you have about 50 GB of storage. Yes, it's a small part of The experience, but The beta file size of The Division 2 is what you'd expect from an AAA game. This also means that the download will take some time, possibly a long time. If you want to start playing properly when the beta is unlocked, be sure to preload it. Preloading has started.
Public beta has three main story quests, five side quests, and various open world activities. With the exception of the third story task, the public beta is about the same as the private beta. You can enter the new PvP and PvE Dark Zone area, one of, and played in more than one map called PvP multiplayer Skirmish. The final mission, called invasion, is also available. Invaded lets you play as one of the three end specialties. The maximum level in public testing is 8. When you upgrade, you will try four skills, including a new addition not seen in the private beta: Chem Launcher.
In case the beta gets you interested in the full game, Ubisoft recently detailed its roadmap for the first year of content. Those plans include a new stronghold, an eight-player raid, and three post-launch episodes coming in summer, fall, and winter. All of that content will be free for all players, but you can get early access to it with a Year 1 Pass. That will cost $40 and also get you special cosmetic The Division 2 Items, eight Classified Assignments, and instant access to any new Specializations. The studio will also be selling cosmetics through an in-game shop.
