The Most Profitable Low-Effort Bosses in OSRS 2026
Not every Old School RuneScape boss needs full focus, max efficiency clicks, or sweaty mechanics to be profitable. Some bosses let you log in, switch your brain to autopilot, and still walk away with millions of RuneScape gold per hour. If you’re looking for low-stress, consistent money makers in 2026, these bosses deliver strong returns without demanding perfection.
Perilous Moons
Perilous Moons is often described as Barrows 2.0, and for good reason. Sitting comfortably at around 2.1 million GP per hour once you’re familiar with it, this Varlamore boss is accessible, forgiving, and very consistent.
You access Perilous Moons through Nepoti, the underground prison beneath Cam Torum. Inside, you can choose which moon to fight or clear all three for maximum rewards. The Eclipse, Blue, and Blood Moons each have simple mechanics focused on dodging AoE attacks and basic positioning. The real money comes from moon armor and weapon pieces, supported by steady alchables and supply drops that smooth out your profits.
Normal Gauntlet
The Normal Gauntlet remains one of the cleanest ways to learn PvM while making money, offering around 2 million GP per hour. After completing Song of the Elves, head to Prifddinas and enter the Gauntlet lobby in the northwest.
Every run starts with nothing. You gather resources, craft crystal gear, and fight Hunllef using prayer switches, movement, and weapon swaps. Notable drops include crystal weapon seeds, crystal armor seeds, and the coveted enhanced crystal weapon seed. Crystal shards also add a reliable baseline profit, making Normal Gauntlet a must-try for nearly every account.
Huey Kuo’te (Huey Kowaddle)
Huey Kuo’te is your introduction to group boss money in Varlamore, pulling roughly 1.9 million GP per hour in mass worlds. Located near Camp Torum in the Hailstorm Mountains, this boss features a multi-phase fight where you attack exposed body parts while dodging shockwaves and tail slams.
Dragonbane weapons shine here, making dragon hunter gear extremely effective. Key drops include the dragon hunter wand, tome of earth, Huey hide pieces, and a strong general loot table filled with seeds and resources.
Dagannoth Rex
If you want maximum chill, Dagannoth Rex delivers about 1.1 million GP per hour with minimal effort. Travel to Waterbirth Island and navigate to the Dagannoth Kings’ lair. Once set up, Rex can be safely safespotted and killed exclusively with magic.
The money comes primarily from the Berserker ring and Warrior ring, alongside steady alchs and seed drops. This is an excellent option for Ironmen or mains looking to complete their ring collection with very low risk.
Vorkath
Vorkath remains one of the most consistent solo money makers in the game, reaching 3.5 million GP per hour with solid gear and experience. Unlocked after Dragon Slayer II, you’ll fight him on Ungael after speaking to Torfinn in Rellekka.
Once you memorize the attack patterns—especially the acid phase and zombified spawn—Vorkath becomes extremely safe. Superior dragon bones, dragon bolts, and high-value uniques like the skeletal visage and draconic visage keep profits steady and reliable.
Tormented Demons
Tormented Demons offer a modern twist on a classic encounter and bring in around 2.7 million GP per hour. Unlocked via While Guthix Sleeps, they’re found in the Ancient Guthixian Temple.
The fight revolves around prayer switching and combat style swaps as the demons rotate protection prayers. Unique drops include tormented synapses and burning claws used for powerful demonbane weapons, backed up by strong alch and supply tables.
Araxxor
Araxxor is a high-reward spider boss capable of reaching 5.7 million GP per hour once learned. Located in the Morytania swamps, the fight is mechanically simple: dodge poison, avoid acid trails, and clear spiderlings.
Once the rhythm clicks, Araxxor becomes extremely repeatable. Profits come from noxious halberd pieces, the araxyte fang for the Amulet of Rancour, and a stacked standard loot table filled with herbs and high-level resources.
Artio
Artio is a single-way Wilderness boss that offers around 2.5 million GP per hour with manageable risk. Found near Hunter’s End at level 21 Wilderness, Artio is far safer than multi-combat Wilderness bosses.
Her drops include Voidwaker components, Claws of Callisto, the Tyrannical Ring, and raw GP. Because it’s single combat, escaping PKers is far easier, making Artio one of the best risk-adjusted Wilderness money makers.
Royal Titans
The Royal Titans, Brandr and Eldric, are a duo boss averaging 1.7 million GP per hour. Found in the Asgarnian Ice Dungeon, this fight focuses on handling two bosses with opposing elements while dodging basic AoEs.
Key drops include twinflame staff pieces, desiccated pages, and solid standard loot like herbs and seeds, making this an approachable and steady option.
Zalcano
Zalcano remains the chill-skilling boss of Prifddinas, offering around 2.1 million GP per hour alongside Mining, Smithing, and Runecrafting XP. Instead of traditional combat, you mine, smelt, enchant, and throw materials to break her shield.
Notable rewards include crystal shards, onyx bolt tips, rune items, and crystal tool seeds—plus a highly sought-after pet.
Duke Sucellus
One of the Desert Treasure II bosses, Duke Sucellus, can reach 5.7 million GP per hour with efficient kills. Located beneath Weiss, the fight starts with a short preparation phase before settling into a predictable rhythm of positioning and dodging mechanics.
Major profits come from Soulreaper Axe components, Magus ring pieces, Virtus armor, and a strong baseline loot table.
Commander Zilyana
Commander Zilyana is a classic God Wars boss that still pulls around 3.1 million GP per hour. With 70 Agility and access to the God Wars Dungeon, you’ll camp Protect from Magic and kite her while quickly clearing minions.
Armadyl crossbows and Saradomin hilts remain massive payouts, making Zilyana a reliable boss to camp for long sessions.
With these bosses, you don’t need max effort to make serious, cheap Runescape gold. Whether you prefer chill solo grinds, group content, or light Wilderness risk, OSRS in 2026 offers more easy money makers than ever.
