Even before the unveiling at Blizzcon 2019 in Anaheim, California, all the rumors spoke in favor of an announcement of "Diablo 4". And indeed Blizzard finally unveiled the long-awaited sequel to the legendary Hack and Slay series at the in-house show. But what awaits players in Diablo 4? Which part of the series is the closest to comparable? And most important: When will Diablo 4 appear?

The Blizzard team has created a brand new open world consisting of five regions, which for the first time has no linear campaign. That There is no strict specification as to how you want to tread the story of Diablo 4. There will be a total of five classes in the finished game. Three of them were already revealed at the Blizzcon 2019: The Sorceress, the Barbarian and the Druid. While the Sorceress and the Barbarian are of course based on their predecessors, you can transform yourself into a mighty bear with the Druid, for example, and fuel your opponents with special attacks. All classes should also be optically highly individualizable.
